Sleepless in Barcelona

Megan Fox...probably not in Barcelona

According to the latest medical research (or at least the most convenient medical research I could find using Google), one in ten males under the age of thirty snores regularly.

This means that in a sixteen bed hostel room, with all beds occupied by men in this age bracket, there’s likely to be one, two or maybe even three snorers disrupting your sleep during the night. The odds of all bar one of your bunkmates snoring however, is actually somewhere upwards of a billion to one…or roughly the same as me becoming involved in a steamy affair with Megan Fox.

One night several years ago, in a hostel room in Barcelona, one of the above actually happened to me…I’ll leave it to you to work out which one.

Either way, I can assure you I didn’t get much sleep.
